About

About Me

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and Art Therapy Credentialed Supervisor (ATCS), I enjoy helping people advocate for themselves and gain a deeper understanding of their relationships and their path forward.

I received my Masters in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University in Chicago, IL.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children, families, and couples to navigate life transitions, relationships, anxiety, depression, and career changes.

I value creativity and incorporate art therapy techniques into the therapeutic process when clinically relevant and appropriate. I also utilize a wide range of other techniques including traditional talk therapy, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness with an overarching belief in an individualized approach to therapy, catered to personal needs and goals.

My Specialties

Art Therapy

Art therapy provides non-verbal, culturally adaptable modalities. It supports identity restoration, resilience, and emotion regulation. It cultivates imagination and understanding of the self.

Training & Education

In addition to providing therapeutic services, I also offer educational training designed to promote mental health awareness and emotional well-being. I conduct workshops, seminars, and outreach events for schools, workplaces, and local organizations on topics such as stress management, communication skills, trauma awareness, and resilience.

Teens &Young Adults

Navigating the transition from adolescence to independent adulthood can be challenging. Therapy can help with identity development, career uncertainty, academic stress, relationships, family dynamics, and mental health challenges like anxiety or depression.

Motherhood

Motherhood involves a deep transformative journey that includes identity shifts in self, roles, and responsibilities. Practicing self-compassion and continuous learning, enables new mothers to adapt and thrive.

Individuals & Couples

Couples counseling is a collaborative process designed to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationship.

Clinical Supervision

Art therapy supervision is a specialized, creative form of clinical oversight, often utilizing response art alongside verbal, evidence-based techniques to deepen case conceptualization, manage countertransference, and ensure ethical practice. I provide individual and group supervision for clinicians who have received their graduate training in Art Therapy and need the required supervision hours to obtain their art therapy licensure. Supervision focuses on developing clinical skills, ethical decision-making, and the effective integration of creative processes in therapy.
